Flat Wire Recoil Springs
ISMI recoil springs for Glock pistols are
wound from flat wire so they are a direct replacement for your
factory supplied springs. Manufactured to ISO 9002 quality control standards;
ISMI uses aerospace spec materials and then after winding the spring are fully
processed for maximum durability and consistency. As part of the design
parameters, we were careful to maintain proper required spring rates for
reliability.
The factory spring rate for the G17, G17L, G20, G21, G22, G24, G31, G34, G35 is 17 pounds and the factory spring weight for the G19, G23, G32 is 18 pounds.
Typically a lighter spring is needed when using a compensator and a heavier spring is needed if your are shooting "stiff" loads. There are great Glock accessories.
The captured recoil spring guide rod is highly recommended when using these springs.
Magazine Springs
ISMI manufactures magazine springs for
high capacity (AKA pre-ban, HiCap) Glock magazines.. As with other ISMI mag
springs, these are wound from certified aerospace spec materials; then they are
heat treat, shot peened and stress relieved for maximum durability. ISMI has had
reports from law enforcement officers that they have left magazines fully loaded
for almost 2 years with ISMI springs and encountered no functioning problems
when the magazine was used.
Authentic Glock Recoil Springs
Having a
spare recoil spring is always a good idea. These springs with captive,
polymer guide rods are from the manufacturer.
